Cameron Gilbert PhD.

Founder and Board Chairman

Dr. Cameron Gilbert has extensive leadership expertise in healthcare business operations, clinical operations, and regulatory affairs. As the founder and CEO of NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals (NPH), Dr. Gilbert opened and operated over 15 hospitals that merged psychiatry, internal medicine, and neurology into a specialized system. The NPH system focused on treating patients with both severe mental illness and medical/neurological disorders in a comprehensive and integrated manner. After completing his PhD and his post-doctorate fellowship, Dr. Gilbert worked in numerous healthcare charities as a clinician and founder in clinics in Haiti, Africa, and rural Indiana. His most recent missionary work led him to orphanages in India where he focused on the mental healthcare and wellness of young children with significant developmental disorders.

After selling his hospital system, Dr. Gilbert accepted a post-doctorate fellowship at Harvard University, focusing on complex healthcare delivery through the Advanced Leadership Initiative. With the goal of Social Impact, Dr. Gilbert remains passionate in serving those individuals with severe mental illnesses, developmental disorders, dementia, and disadvantaged individuals struggling with the housing crisis in America today. He founded the Gilbert Fund to dedicate his time, energy, and resources to eliminating the denial of healthcare around the world to those who suffer with treatable, but severe diseases, as well as those individuals suffering from homelessness.
