The Gilbert Fund proudly supports Sarah’s Covenant Homes in India, an organization dedicated to providing family-like care for children with developmental disabilities who have been abandoned due to poverty and social stigma. Sarah’s Covenant Homes offers these children a nurturing environment where they can thrive, alongside essential services like physical therapy, special education, and medical treatment, providing support for as long as they need—even throughout their entire lives.

Through this initiative, community leaders in Honduras will be trained to provide much-needed counseling and psychiatric referrals while psychiatric care will be made available for those in need. Together, Mission Lazarus and the Gilbert Fund are committed to creating sustainable, community-based mental health support systems that empower local leaders and improve access to essential care.
